I am a South San Francisco-based painter whose acrylic artwork examines the intersection of physical power, emotional depth, and vibrant color theory. My paintings focus on wildlife, botanical subjects, and cultural heritage, using expressive brushwork and rich tonal values to create compelling visual narratives. My original works have been featured in local Bay Area exhibitions, regional showcases, and award-winning shows across San Mateo County.
Titled Mother, this acrylic painting explores themes of protective strength, resilience, and quiet instincts. I used a striking color contrast—setting the warm amber and golden tones of the tigress against swirling currents of emerald, teal, and deep blue water. Through fluid, dynamic brushstrokes, I wanted to capture a moment of poise and unwavering focus as she navigates the surrounding waters.
